... were made by little bakers and their parents on December, 10th in the german bakery Samovar in Siesta. With 22 children the bakery was packed. The kids mixed and dispersed dough and decorated christmassy forms before putting the cookies in the oven. As soon as the first cookies were ready to be eaten the baking tray was empty. Apart from the cookies there was mulled wine for the mums. The christmas bakery went on until the early evening and was a huge success that will be repeated next Christmas.
In case you'd like to surprise your family with some delicious cookies - here is the recipe:
100 g sugar
200 g butter
300 g flour (or instead of only flour 150 g flour and alternatively 150 g grated almonds or hazelnuts)
bake in the oven at 180 degrees with top and bottom heat.
